Located in the Annapolis Premier Fitness Center.
The Premier Pilates Studio is a fully equipped studio serviced by classically trained instructors. In addition to Mat classes, we offer instruction on the Reformer, Tower, Cadillac, Barrel and Chairs. We use a variety of balls, rings, bands and foam rollers to enhance your Pilates experience. We are passionate about Pilates and are continually expanding our repertoire to enhance our client needs. We offer instruction in classes, or by appointment as private, duets or trios.

What is Pilates?
Pilates (pronounced Puh- la- tees) is a unique movement system designed to stretch, strengthen and balance the body. Developed over 80 years ago by Joseph H. Pilates, Pilates focuses on strengthening of the CORE musculature and postural alignment while stretching the muscles in gently transforming ways.
Pilates has proven itself invaluable not only as a fitness endeavor itself, but also as an important adjunct to professional sports training and physical rehabilitation of all kinds. With over 500 exercises in the Method's repertoire, this discipline lends itself to all fitness levels from post- rehabilitation to the reconditioned and elite athlete.
Pilates is for anyone who desires a firm yet flexible body, and for those who want to move, work and play without pain!

Pilates Classes
GENTLE PILATES- 45 minute intro class. Want to know about Pilates? Come learn the basics of the Pilates Method focusing on core work, lengthening & strengthening your muscles. Open to all members of the Gym.
Held in the Aerobics Gym
PILATES OPEN MAT – 55 minute multi-level Mat class designed for all levels of students. - Students must have had 3 introductory sessions, or approval of the instructor. Class size limited, Sign up is encouraged.

APPARATUS CLASS- 55 minute Multi level, multi equipment class. Learn to do Pilates on the Mat, Reformer, Tower, & Chairs. Class size limited, Sign up is encouraged. Students must have had 3 introductory sessions, or approval of the instructor.

TOWER CLASS- This apparatus class uses a combo of Mat & Tower exercises to really focus on your core. Stabilize yourself while you strengthen & stretch. Students must have had 3 introductory sessions, or approval of the instructor.

Private Instruction
INTRO TO PILATES- 3 Private Sessions . Meet One-on-One with a certified Pilates Instructor to learn the basics and correct form and technique. Learn the proper alignment and posture techniques to really get the most out of your class work. Required before attending all classes.
PRIVATES, DUETS & TRIOS- Get individualized instruction with a certified Pilates Instructor, at a time convenient for you. Make a group with your friends, or ask an instructor to put you in a group.
